Fulbright scholar to join Physics in 2008/09

Prof. John Thompson from the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Maine USA has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to come to DIT and work with the Physics Education Research Group and teach in the School of Physics.

John’s application was one of many and was one of the very few to get fully funded for one academic year. John will arrive in Ireland with his family in August 2008.
