The amplituhedron - a re-imagining of Feynman diagrams

Physicists at Oxford have developed a geometric formulation for the calculation of particle scattering amplitudes that does not mathematically require unitarity and locality, two barriers to the unification of quantum theory with gravitation, and which may have far reaching implications in Physics. See the following at Quanta Magazine for more.

Physicists image hydrogen bonds

Physicists in China have imaged hydrogen bonds within 8-hydroxyquinoline on a copper surface using AFM. This represents the first ever such image of this type of bond in the laboratory. For more, see Science Magazine.
