Congratulations to Viswanath Bavagidda and welcome to Tatsiana Mikulchyk

Congratulations to Viswanath Bavigadda who successfully defended his PhD thesis today December 5th 2012. Viswanath’s research project entitled "A New Versatile Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometer for Vibration Measurements " was carried out in the Centre for Industrial and Engineering Optics and supervised by Prof. Vincent Toal, Dr. Emilia Mihaylova and Dr. Raghavendra Jallapuram. Viswanath’s external examiner was Prof. David Burton, Director of the General Engineering Research Institute at Liverpool John Moores University. The internal examiner was Dr Brian Bowe, Head of Learning Development, Faculty of Engineering, DIT. We also welcome Tatsiana Mikulchyk who has recently joined the Centre for Industrial and Engineering Optics as an IRCSET funded research student.
